Magnetic scentwork tins with holes for nosework training. We supply a magnet with each tin to allow for better off-ground searches and improved training opportunities. All you need to do is insert your chosen scent, close the lid and hide the scentwork container.
Magnetic containers can be used to hide the scent during a nosework search. You can also use them to condition the dog to a scent during training.
To train your dog to find a scent, insert the scent into the container. Present the scent to your dog and then reward them for sniffing it. After some repetition you can begin very basic searches with your dog. In the early stages hide the magnetic scentwork tin in easy locations and reward them for finding it.
As your dog improves you can graduate to increasingly difficult searches. The magnetic container allows you to hide it in many more locations such as; fridges, radiators, bike racks etc.

Care should be taken when storing or training with scentwork containers to ensure that the dog is not given the opportunity to swallow it, the contents or the magnet inside. Store the container in a dry location when not in use to prevent rusting.
